This is the first volume in a projected 30 volume set compiled from the proceedings of the Combatant Status Review Tribunals and Administrative Review Board hearings All of the documents contained within this volume are freely available on the DoD website. However, the DoD released the documents in an intentionally jumbled manner making their disclosure nearly useless to scholars of Guantanamo Bay. The editor of this volume has made every effort to reorganize these documents for ease of reading. In this volume, we have presented the first 19 detainees, sorted by their Internee Serial Number (ISN) into chapters that are demarcated by a double-sided black page. Each chapter contains information about a detainee drawn from up to nine different data sources. This book contains dozens of handwritten pages by a Guantanamo Detainee!
